Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

North SEO Ads Manager ("the Application") is an internal software tool operated by North SEO ("we", "us", "our"), a digital marketing agency located at 408 E 56th Ave, Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our primary website is northseo.ca. You can contact us at info@northseo.ca or +1 778-682-4542.

The Application is used exclusively by North SEO staff to create, manage, monitor, and report on Google Ads campaigns for client accounts linked to our Google Ads manager account. It is not offered to the general public.

2. Information We Access Through Google APIs

The Application connects to the Google Ads API using OAuth 2.0 authorization granted by our own Google Ads manager account user. Through this connection, the Application accesses:

Google Ads account structure and settings (campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads, assets, budgets, and targeting) for client accounts linked to our manager account;
Advertising performance data for those accounts (such as impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, and search terms reports);
Basic Google account profile information of the authorizing user (our own staff) as part of the OAuth sign-in process.

The Application does not access Gmail content, Google Drive files, contacts, or any other Google user data beyond the Google Ads scope described above. The Application does not collect data about consumers or website visitors.

3. How We Use This Information

Information obtained through the Google Ads API is used solely to:

Set up and configure advertising campaigns for our clients;
Monitor campaign performance and apply optimizations (such as negative keywords and bid adjustments) reviewed and approved by our team;
Prepare performance reports for each client about their own account.

We do not use this information for advertising or marketing unrelated to the respective client's own account, and we do not use it to build profiles of individuals.

4. Limited Use Disclosure

The Application's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade information obtained through the Google Ads API. We do not share it with third parties, except that:

Each client receives reports containing performance data about their own Google Ads account;
We may disclose information if required to do so by law.

No data obtained through Google APIs is transferred to advertising networks, data brokers, or information resellers.

6. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Data retrieved through the Google Ads API is stored on secured company equipment with access limited to authorized North SEO personnel. OAuth tokens and API credentials are stored in protected configuration files and are never included in client-facing outputs or shared externally.

We retain campaign and performance data only as long as needed to provide services to the respective client and to maintain required business records. Data relating to a client is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after the end of our engagement with that client, unless retention is required by law.

7. Revoking Access and Deletion Requests

The Google account user who authorized the Application can revoke its access at any time via Google Account permissions. Clients may request deletion of data we hold about their account by contacting us at info@northseo.ca. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL, with the effective date shown at the top of the page.
